Ahead of the announcement of the huge boxing fight between Ngannou and Fury on October 28 in Saudi Arabia, Matchroom Boxing’s Hearn weighed in on the matchup. He claimed that he was hearing it would be an exhibition fight with no knockdowns. As it turns out, Ngannou vs. Fury will not be an exhibition match.
Results
The contest will be contested over 10 rounds and will count as an official bout but Fury’s title will not be at stake. Then Fury is finally set to face Usyk in Saudi Arabia later this winter in a bid to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.
