At Garden City Community College, Hill ran track and played football. As a sophomore in 2013, Hill ran for 659 receiving yards and five touchdowns, while caught 67 passes for 532 receiving yards for the Bronxbusters football team.

Coming out of Garden City Community College, Hill was a highly sought-after junior college recruit and chose to attend Oklahoma State University.

On August 30, 2014, Hill made his debut for the Cowboys and caught a season-high six passes for 62 yards in a loss to the Florida State Seminoles. On September 25, 2014, he caught his first career touchdown against the Texas Tech Red Raiders and won with three receptions for 50 yards, six rushing attempts for 39-yards, and three kick returns for a total of 62 yards. In the next game against the Iowa State Cyclones, Hill finished season-high with 148 kick-return yards on five attempts and returned his first kick for the touchdown of the season. On November 1, 2014, he achieved a season-high 102 rushing yards in 18 attempts and scored his first rushing touchdown of the season against the Kansas State Wildcats.

Wife

NFL player Tyrek Hill and girlfriend-turned-wife Keita Vaccaro are newly engaged. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar proposed in conjunction with Vaccaro at a party with pre-planned fireworks over the Fourth of July weekend. Little did she know that her boyfriend had other plans with the vendors.

Separately, the wide receiver produced a sweet sign and a balloon installation that read, “Will You Marry Me?” To celebrate the moment. “Forever the beginning,” Hill said on Instagram.

Hill proposed with an additional sparkly bauble: a ring consisting of a square center stone diamond surrounded by a halo of diamonds. The piece was set entirely on a loaf band.

Speed

Next Gen Stats recorded that Hill’s top speed in that play was 22.6 mph, the fastest mark in his career.

For context, the viral play in which Seattle Seahawks’ DK Metcalf chased Arizona Cardinals cornerback Budda Baker during an interception return recorded a top speed (from Metcalf) of 22.64 MPH.

Hill’s speed was even faster than that of the fastest men in the world. NBC showed comparisons between his fastest pace and participants in the 2016 Rio Olympics 200m final, and he certainly held his own against the likes of Usain Bolt. In fact, Hill might have a chance in real life. Both have spoken of competing in a race with a large stake. Bolt will keep one of his Olympic gold medals for the Hills Super Bowl ring. The two haven’t covered the distance yet, but radio host Dan Patrick suggested a 70-meter run when Bolt appeared on his show. Time will tell whether the race is successful or not.

old capacity. Rather than standoff or build tension between the player and the franchise, the Chiefs dealt Hill to the Miami Dolphins for a total of five draft picks. The Dolphins then acceded to Hill’s wish, signing him to a four-year contract extension worth $120 million.

At the time, $52 million guaranteed upon signing was a record for a wide receiver and the highest paid non-quarterback in the NFL by average annual salary. He can no longer keep the latter gap, thanks to Rams superstar Aaron Donald, but a bag is a bag — and Cheetah has a huge one.

With that in mind, the boardroom looks at all the details behind the Dolphins’ groundbreaking Tyrek Hill contract.
