Tyreek Hill: Backflip| Celebration| How fast can run| Socks

For years the NFL was the worst when it came to celebrations. Anything choreographed or exaggerated will result in a penalty for excessive celebration. The league loosened those rules a few years ago, but the No Fun League is still going strong whenever a phone is involved.

During Sunday’s Week 6 game between the Panthers and Dolphins, Tyreek Hill hauled in a 41-yard touchdown reception and ran straight toward someone working in the back of the end zone. Hill took the man’s phone and did a backflip on the video.

Apparently, this entire celebration was planned because the guy had the video setting ready for the Dolphins receiver.

Celebration

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill always has something to do when it comes to touchdown celebrations.

After all, Hill had a lot to celebrate on his record-breaking day.

Hill scored a 41-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on Sunday, and proceeded to snatch a cell phone from someone standing in the back of the end zone.

In the latest opportunity to have some fun during the Dolphins’ debut this season, Hill took a selfie video doing a backflip and saluting with a peace sign.

How fast can run

In Sunday’s 70-20 win over the Broncos, Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill reached a top speed of 22.07 mph on a 15-yard catch, the fastest speed of any ball carrier in the NFL this season.

Socks

The Dolphins wideout says the NFL has fined him more than $100,000 for failure to follow the league’s uniform policy, specifically related to the lack of proper legwear on game days. Hill has not worn socks on game days this season, angering the league office.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that Hill’s fine totals less than $100,000, but it is still a “significant amount.” Hill recently said he was fined $7,000 for not wearing socks during the Broncos’ 70–20 loss in Week 3.

Somewhat surprisingly, the NFL rulebook has a fairly lengthy section devoted to wearing socks on gameday, which seems a bit absurd.
