Tyler Bertuzzi is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League. Bertuzzi was drafted 58th overall by the Red Wings in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Surgery:
Detroit Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi underwent successful back surgery on Friday, April 30 at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. The procedure was performed by Dr. Frank Cammisa. He is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of the 2021-22 season.
Bertuzzi, 26, appeared in nine games for Detroit this season finishing with seven points (5-2-7) and an even plus-minus rating. He scored in back-to-back games on Jan. 28 vs. Dallas and Jan. 30 vs. Florida before leaving the Jan. 30 game after the second period due to injury. The Sudbury, Ontario, native has appeared in 208 career games for the Red Wings totaling 126 points (54-72-126) and 119 PIM.
