According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Cleveland Browns and cornerback Troy Hill signed an agreement Thursday on a four-year, $ 24 million contract.
Hill is coming off his best statistical season for the Ram of Los Angeles. He posted career-high totals in Total Tackle (77), Defended (10), Interception (three), Fumble Recovery (two) and Forced Fumble (one). He also scored three defensive touchdowns.
The 29-year-old Ohio native signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015 as an undrafted free agent. He made three appearances for him and spent a brief period during his rookie season with the New England Patriots.
