Troy Kenneth Aikman (born November 21, 1966) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma and UCLA, and was first drafted by the Cowboys in the 1989 NFL Draft. Aikman was named to six Pro Bowls during his career, helping lead Dallas into a period of dominance in the 1990s. The longest-serving quarterback in Cowboys franchise history, Ackman won three Super Bowl titles with the team and was the MVP of Super Bowl XXVII. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
