Scouting Report

Tony Santillan: Age| Velocity| Fantasy| Scouting Report| MLB

Earlier in the season, Tony Santillan wasn’t pumping out big velocity with Daytona and had a slightly lower strike rate. Eventually premium velocity appeared and he began to sit in the 94-96 MPH range and touched higher as the season progressed.

slider | Pitch operates in the 88-91 MPH range. Velocity for sliders is near the top of the range, and while it’s not one that bites as hard as some of the others, velocity makes a real difference with pitch. At best it’s a plus offering.
