Tony Ferguson Arrest

Former interim UFC Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson has found himself in trouble with the law, but that doesn’t seem to have deterred him.

Ferguson was arrested after a pickup truck rammed into two cars parked outside a nightclub in Hollywood at around 2 a.m. local time. “El Cucuy” was booked at the Hollywood Community Police Station for DUI after allegedly being uncooperative with police and refusing to take a field sobriety test, TMZ Sports reports.

Initially, Ferguson’s bond was set at $30,000. Eventually he was released from the police station on his personal bond.

Ferguson has spoken for the first time since the incident. Although he did not reveal what happened, “El Cucuy” revealed that he is looking forward to getting back inside the Octagon soon.

Opponents faces

Tony Ferguson Arrest: Opponents faces| Walkout song

Tony Ferguson is a very violent man and we support him. Lost in the whole UFC 229 drama is the fact that Tony Ferguson and Tony Pettis had a fight 25 minutes before all of that, the nominee of the year.

El Cucuy and Showtime brought the house down and we forgot almost all about it. Put some respect on that fight. And maybe come back in a few months.

Quietly but fiercely, Ferguson is on an 11-fight winning streak that dates back to October 2013. For those who are counting down at home, that’s five years of being untouched in a cage. In a game of inches that punishes you deep for your misses, Ferguson stands firm.

Yes, Ferguson has struggled with injuries over the years but he has still struggled with injuries three times in 2015, twice in 2016 and once in each of the last two years.

In his last six fights, Ferguson has faced the Mortal Kombat tower of UFC lightweights. Anthony Pettis, Kevin Lee, Rafael Dos Anjos, Lando Vannata, Edson Barboza and Josh Thomson have all lost to Ferguson.

The weirdest or wildest part is the scars Ferguson has left on the faces of his last six opponents. As we speak, there is a picture floating on the interwebs which is of the last six challengers after Tony Ferguson’s fight.

Walkout song

Whenever Ferguson enters the field, his iconic walkout music certainly gets the crowd going. Tony Ferguson performed on the song “The Party Has Just Begun” by DJ Ultralight. Ferguson has been on this song for years.
