In fact, one of the best parts about having fans back in the stands is watching moments like it played out during Sunday’s Week 7 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears.

Tom Brady took a moment to remember a young fan.

With less than a minute to go in the Bucs’ 38-3 win, Brady was seen going to the stands and giving a hat to a young fan. This fan came to the game with a sign that read, “Tom Brady helped me beat brain cancer.” And apparently the future Hall of Fame quarterback took note of the sign and made it a point to meet with the young fan.

During a post-game interview, a reporter asked Brady what it was like to see not only the boy’s sign but that memorable experience with Reb.

“He was really cute. You obviously know the tough kid, man. What we’re doing on the field puts a lot of perspective into that. In the end, it doesn’t mean what so many people do.” ,” Brady said. “You know we all try to make a difference in different ways and I think a lot of people put in the time to do good things for their foundation, for the world, and the NFL does a lot of great things. Is … I always think you know, it’s nice to see the best you can do in any given situation.”

Three of the four Brady touchdown passes went to Mike Evans. The star wide receiver had six catches for 76 yards. Chris Godwin led the Bucs with eight catches for 111 yards and a second touchdown catch. Leonard Fournett got 81 yards on the ground on a 15 carry and scored a touchdown.

Godwin caught Brady’s 599th touchdown, and Evans scored the number 600. Evans accidentally gave his touchdown ball to a fan. It appears that Evans did not realize that his touchdown catch was Brady’s 600th catch, and handed the ball to a Bucs fan sitting in the end zone seat at Raymond James Stadium. Fans appeared excited.

Later, a member of the Bux crew approaches the fan and is seen making a deal to get the ball back. The man dropped the ball in exchange for some signed memorabilia. According to Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions, the ball could cost as much as $500,000.
