Tom Brady on track to top 100,000 passing yards, including regular season and post-season

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is almost half a season away from an extraordinary feat: 100,000 career passing yards.

Brady logged 97,569 career passing yards in the 2022 season, 84,520 in the regular season and 13,049 in the post season. This puts him from 100,000 to 2,431 yards, a total no other quarterback in NFL history has ever come close to achieving.

Last year Brady averaged 313 passing yards per game. If he averages 313 yards this year, he will top 100,000 yards in the Bux’s eighth game of the season, Thursday night’s home game against the Ravens on October 27.

A total of 100,000 total has never been contacted before and may never be reached again. Brady’s combination of productivity and longevity is unequaled in NFL history.

Tantrum

Tom Brady, who is old enough to be the father of some of his teammates, scolded him like a harsh father during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 20-18 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Pittsburgh on Sunday. (See video below.)

As his team trailed 10-6 in the second quarter, Brady sacked and faltered in his offensive linemen moments (though the Buccaneers recovered).

“You’re so much better than the way you’re playing… put your fucking act together!!” He said, according to the outlets.

The 45-year-old superstar’s team fell 3-3 and his problems on offense continued. Several drives are halted inside the 20-yard yard line.

Later, Brady gave reporters a G-rated take on the team’s need to improve.

“We all have to do a better job,” he said. “Obviously, there’s a lot to fix.”

Brady has broken computer tablets this season in desperation and is under personal stress as his marriage has reportedly fallen apart.

Kick

The NFL informed Buccaneers QB Tom Brady today that it is fined $11,139 for kicking Grady Jarrett on a play in which the Falcons’ DL was penalized for unnecessary roughness, per source.
Brady was the subject of one of two brutal methods of punishing passersby last week. Near the end of his 21–15 victory over the Falcons, Jarrett came short and sacked Brady into the backfield in what should have been a 10-yard defeat that gave Atlanta the ball back.

Yet officers called passers-by a harsh punishment, prompting considerable backlash – as Jarrett did nothing wrong with his tackle.

The kick in question comes to an end, when Brady raises his leg to try to kick Jarrett as he descends to celebrate. Brady didn’t really make much contact.

After game

Tom Brady with a few words for his offensive line.

If Brady was mad before halftime, the early second half kickoff didn’t improve his mood. Pittsburgh returner Steven Sims Jr. returned the kickoff deep into the Tampa Bay area, handing Piquet and the Steelers a short field:
Stevensims Jr. with some room to open the second half!

The Tampa Bay defense held the Steelers for just one field goal, but the Buccaneers again found themselves four behind a team that was a two-point underdog during the week.

Then it was Brady’s turn to drive together, and the Buccaneers went deep into the Pittsburgh area again, thanks in large part to this completion from Brady to Chris Godwin:

Still, though, the drive stopped deep in the Pittsburgh area. Despite facing further goal at the Steelers’ 9-yard line, the Buccaneers were again held for a field goal. As the offense came off the field, one wondered if the Microsoft tablets on the Tampa Bay shore were in danger.

But Brady and the offense’s clashes were certainly noteworthy, especially given the state of the Steelers defense
