Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. (born August 3, 1977) is an American football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). Tom Brady turned 45 on Wednesday morning, and while most middle-aged men shunned back pain, knee pain or another workout in favor of riding a golf cart in moderate heat, the sport’s most famous Sugar-free birthday cake added another candle at the start of another Brady season. Diet
Brady explained that he was focusing on eating “alkaline” foods, or foods meant to reduce inflammation in your body. For lunch, Brady ate fish and vegetables, and his personal chef reveals that 80 percent of Brady’s household is vegetables.
However, Brady says he now gives himself some breathing room when it comes to his diet. “I have a friend who doesn’t like this or that most organic, and I’m like, ‘That stress will do you more harm than you eat that chip,'” he explained.
That said, Brady favors a routine: berry-and-banana smoothie pre-workout; avocado and eggs for breakfast; salad with nuts and fish for lunch; Hummus, guacamole or mixed nuts for snacks; and roasted vegetables and chicken for dinner.
