We’re friends and of course, I’m glad he’s back and healthy,” Vaughan, 37, said, referring to the car accident Woods was involved in last year and his subsequent hospitalization and recovery.
“And, you know, it was a tough time for him,” she continued. “So I’m just glad he’s back with his kids.”
Vaughan was married to Olympic skier Thomas Vaughan for four years, then later dated Woods, 46, for almost three years, before the two called it quits in 2015. In December 2020, she met fiancee P.K. Subban in December 2020 after three years together.
The famed athlete — who has 82 World Cup victories, three Olympic medals and 20 World Cup titles to her name — also recently told People that she is “looking forward to a positive and healthy relationship,” and is happy to spend time with her now. Got it with myself.
“I really enjoy it now,” Vaughan said. “It’s good enough to be alone with life and myself and to be happy with it. I feel lucky.”
New girlfriend
Things are going well for Tiger Woods and his longtime girlfriend, Erica Herman – and people close to him say the pair’s relationship is getting even more serious.
“They now live together at his house,” a source close to the golfer told PEOPLE in this week’s issue, referring to the mansion in Jupiter, Florida, near Woods.
According to the source, Woods’ two children — Charlie, 11, and daughter Sam, 13 — are also encouraging the relationship. “The kids like him,” the source tells People.
Woods and Herman have been dating each other for nearly four years. They were first pictured together in September 2017 at the President’s Cup in New Jersey. It was at the tournament – where Woods served as assistant captain for the United States team – that Herman wore the badges reserved for the players’ girlfriends and wives.

Since then, the couple has only come closer, with Hermann also winning the 2019 Masters. Herman, a former restaurant manager, is now focusing on building a home with Woods.
Son
Two father-son duos – John Daly and his son John Daly II, and the Tigers – went up against each other at this year’s US$1 million PNC Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando in Grande Lakes, Florida, on December 19. Woods and his son Charlie. The Dailys won the tournament, finishing at 27 under par, two strokes ahead of Woods, CNN reported. However, despite not winning the top prize, the prestigious competition served as a successful event for Woods. The incident not only marked Tiger’s return after a car accident that damaged his leg and bedridden him for nearly four months, it also highlighted Charlie’s charisma and performance on the golf course. Showing excellent skill at such a young age, Charlie must have outdone even his father. But outside the sport, what do we know about the 12-year-old golf prodigy?
