Leading up to The Masters, the big question everyone is wondering is simple: Will Tiger Woods play?
After a week of practice at the Wanted Track and host of the first major championships of the year and with all signs pointing to his return to where he put on the Green Jacket five times before, Woods is ready on the press conference schedule for The Masters. in on Tuesday, April 5 at 11 a.m. ET.

While there’s no official word on when to tune in to the Augusta National Golf Club interview room for Woods to step on stage, it’s safe to say that Golf Channel will have coverage and it’s likely that ESPN will too.

The wait is over, the suspense is over. Tiger Woods has announced that his right leg has passed its fitness test and is ready to face it in the opening round of the 86th Masters on Thursday.
Not only that, but the 46-year-old, who hasn’t played competitively for 17 months, believes he can overcome the odds, history and credibility of the game by winning a record-equalling sixth Green Jacket on Sunday evening.
Of course, there’s always a caveat with Woods—he loves drama—and the guesswork that he at least left room for doubt.
“At the moment I think I’m going to play,” Woods said at his eagerly awaited press conference. But utterly consumed by Tigramania, anyone interested were the words “I’m going to play”.
And so, at 10.34 a.m., Woods will go out with South Africa’s Louis Osthuizen and Chile’s Joaquin Niemann. The young Chilean will probably feel like he has joined a crazy circus.
Fourteen months after a car accident, Woods will return to the fairways that define him before all others, barring the adverse reaction of his labor here over the past few days.
“I’m going to play nine more holes [on Wednesday],” Woods said. “I’m really excited about how well I’ve recovered. So I came here last week to do a 27-hole test.”
Woods revealed he is in pain “every day” but is adamant that he can play through it and struggle for the 16th Major. “I do – I can hit it just fine,” he said. “
