Tiffany Jackson-Jones (April 26, 1985 – October 3, 2022) was an American basketball player and coach. He played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns, earning All-American honors. Jackson played professionally in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) for the New York Liberty, Tulsa Shock and Los Angeles Sparks. She also played in the Israeli Premier League for Maccabi Ashdod. She later returned to Texas as an assistant coach for the Longhorns.

Jackson attended the University of Texas at Austin and played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns. In 2004, the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) named him Freshman of the Year. [6] As a sophomore in 2006, Jackson was named a first-team college All-American by the USBWA and Associated Press. (AP) for the third team. He received an honorable mention from the AP as an All-American in both his junior and senior years. He earned all-conference honors in the Big 12 in all four seasons, including first-team selection in his last three seasons.

The cause was cancer, the university said.
Jackson noticed a lump in one of her breasts in 2015 while she was playing overseas in Israel during the W.N.B.A. off season. Her trial was called off until she returned to the United States, and even then, until the start of the season for the W.N.B.A’s Tulsa Shock.
“I didn’t let my teammates make it to the playoffs,” she told ESPN in 2016, “because I knew I’d have to go back to Dallas after Game 2, win or lose, to start healing. I did that via mass text.” Ended up telling everyone, because I was afraid that if I did it in person, I would break.”
Jackson was a powerhouse player at the University of Texas, where she was the only female basketball player in school history to score at least 1,000 points, score 1,000 rebounds, and make 300 steals and 150 blocks. He is ranked fifth with an overall score of 1,197.
