The first Thursday night NFL game will feature a matchup between the Rams and Bills. Super Bowl champion Los Angeles team will host the Bills, who are the favorites to win the event in 2022.

The Rams would bring back a good chunk of the roster that propelled the team to their second Lombardi Trophy. Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp will remain the driving force of the offense, while free-agent signee Alan Robinson will look to replace the production of Robert Woods and Odell Beckham Jr., both no longer with the team.

Los Angeles will have to replace some key players in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Offensive linemen Andrew Whitworth and Austin Corbett are no longer with the team, while pass rusher von Miller moved to free agency to join the Bills. Those will be underrated areas to watch for rams in week 1.

For the Bills, he has one of the most high-powered offenses in the NFL for his $258 million man, quarterback Josh Allen, and his dynamic top receiver Stephen Diggs. Buffalo is looking forward to a breakout year in 2022 from third-year receiver Gabriel Davis, while slot man Isaiah Mackenzie has also received some buzz during training camp.
