The Games are broadcast over radio through Westwood One, which syndicates the broadcast to its partner radio stations around the United States. In 2016, the NFL began sub-licensing digital streaming rights for the broadcast television portion of the package to third parties, beginning with Twitter in 2016, Prime Video in 2017, and Twitch in 2018, which Amazon and the NFL renewed their contract through 2022. Prime Video has since renewed its deal and will be the exclusive broadcaster between the 2022 and 2033 seasons. [1] Because Prime Video is a subscription service, the NFL would require Amazon to syndicate over-the-air television stations to the local market of teams playing the game.
