Baltimore Ravens linebacker Odafe Owe hit Bridgewater during a run, injuring the latter. However, when questioned about this, Broncos coach Vic Fangio told NFL.com that he did not see exactly what had happened. Drew Locke came in for Bridgewater at halftime. However, Locke failed to make an impact on the game as the Broncos lost the game. The Broncos also recalled their first-choice receiver Dionte Spencer, who had suffered a chest injury earlier.

The Dolphins’ quarterback position has gone from bad to worse after an injury to backup signal-collar Teddy Bridgewater in a Miami game at the Jets.

Bridgewater was hit with a corner blitz by rookie Sous Gardner around the 13-minute mark of the first quarter, forcing a throw and a safety.

However, the bigger story is that Bridgewater – for the injured Tua Tagovailoa, which is concussion protocol – was slow to rise.

The Dolphins named him as suspect for returning with an elbow injury, although sports reports indicate that Bridgewater had gone to the locker room to meet with an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant to test for possible injury.
