As a freshman at Louisville in 2011, Bridgewater entered the season as a backup to Will Stein. However, by the fourth game of the Cardinals’ season against Marshall, he was a starter and remained a starter for the rest of the year.  He made 191 of 296 passes for 2,129 yards with 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. completed. Former New Orleans Saints QB Teddy Bridgewater is signing a free-agent contract with the Miami Dolphins. ESPN insider Adam Schefter reports that Bridgewater agreed to a one-year deal, which he will sign at the official start of free agency on Wednesday.


Bridgewater will support Tua Tagovailoa in Miami after leading 7-7 with Denver as a starter last season. The Dolphins are his fourth team in four years and his fifth team in seven NFL seasons.
