Teddy Edmond Bridgewater Jr. is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Louisville and was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.

Broncos:
Denver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was taken off the field on a stretcher and later to the hospital after suffering an apparent head injury Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Bridgewater was being taken to the hospital as a precaution and he was able to move his extremities, the team said. Drew Lock came into the game in place of Bridgewater
Injury:
The Cincinnati Bengals (8-6) defeated the Denver Broncos (7-7) on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High in a slow-paced game that saw Teddy Bridgewater get carted off the field with a head injury.
The first touchdown of the game didn’t come until the second half when the score was 6-3 in favor of Cincinnati. Tim Patrick caught a 25-yard pass in the end zone courtesy of Teddy’s fill-in Drew Lock.
Saints:
Joe Burrow regained the lead for his Bengals right before the end of the third quarter, finding Tyler Boyd for a 56-yard TD.
Boyd ended the game with 96 yards on five catches, a game-high in yardage for all receivers and backs.
Update:
The fourth quarter saw no action in the end zone, with the score not moving since Boyd’s TD to end the third.
Lock ended the game with 88 passing yards on 6 of 12 completions, 10 less passing yards than Bridgewater for the game, but on six less successful passes.

Teddy Bridgewater has been through so much already in his NFL career. Seeing him get carted off, strapped to a backboard, was a scary sight Sunday afternoon.
Bridgewater suffered a head injury in the third quarter of the Denver Broncos’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals. .
