NBC Sunday Night Football (abbreviated as SNF) is a weekly television broadcast of National Football League (NFL) games in the United States on NBC and Peacock. It began airing on August 6, 2006 with the Pro Football Hall of Fame game,[1] which opened that year’s preseason. NBC took over the rights to broadcast Sunday prime time games from ESPN, which aired from 1987 to 2005 (concurrently with NBC taking over the rights to Sunday evening regular-season games, ESPN taking over Monday Night from sister Took the broadcasting rights to the football network ABC starting with the 2006 season). First, NBC broadcast the American Football League (AFL), and later the American Football Conference (AFC) from 1965 to 1997, when CBS took over those rights.

It looks like Aaron Rodgers and the Packers still “own” the Bears. The Packers defeated their oldest rivals 45–30 on “Sunday Night Football”, the second highest-scoring game between the teams.

The Packers did not score any points in the first quarter but made a strong comeback in the second with 21 points. However, it wasn’t enough to keep the Bears going in the first half. By halftime, Chicago led 27-21. Green Bay dominated the second half with a 24-3 win over Chicago.
