Health problems:

He has Cerebrospinal fluid leak and Back pain

It turned out that he had been suffering from a cerebrospinal fluid leak as a result of a mishap in his surgery which nicked the membrane that houses the fluid. Cerebrospinal fluid surrounds and protects the brain and spine, but with trauma, it can leak and cause incredible pain.

Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Golden State Warrior, still experiences pain and nausea after his spine surgery in the fall of 2015. According to NBC Bay area: “If you have a back problem, stay away from surgery.” Kerr expressed deep regret to the news reporters.

He came crashing down onto the hardwood and braced himself with his left arm. It was later diagnosed as a fractured elbow but he still could return in the postseason.

After the game, Kerr called the play “dirty” and said Brooks “broke the code” for hitting Payton while in mid-air.

“It’s the perfect kind of leader, someone who you feel comfortable with in the locker room but somebody who you can count on to take you where you need to go on the floor,” Kerr went on to explain. “That’s what Steph possesses. It’s a very rare combination of qualities. But it’s what makes him special.”
