Why isnt starting

It was unclear at first whether Curry would start Game 1, but the Warriors later announced that Curry would come off the bench, starting with Jordan Poole point guard.
Kerr said on Friday that if Curry is cleared to play in Saturday’s game, he will be on a one-minute ban. That won’t happen, as Jordan Poole will get a start along with Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Drummond Greene and Kevon Looney.
When Curry plays during Game 1, he will return to court competition for the first time in a month because of a sprained left leg and a bone fracture.
