During the postgame, it was not Curry’s offense, but his outstanding performance on defense received praise from the rest of the team. Gary Peyton II was a big boost for Golden State in his first game since fractured his elbow. His elite on-ball activity brought defensive intensity whenever he was in the game. Although many feared that his elbow would affect his offense, this was not the case as he ended up shooting 3-of-3 from the ground, including a corner three-pointer, for a total of 7 points. In his postgame presser, Peyton appears to be recovering from his injury, saying that he hasn’t hurt his elbow when he is in the game.
