This morning, the Buffalo Bills and Diggs reached a four-year, $104 million extension, which includes a $70 million guarantee, adding Diggs to $124.1m per Adam Schefter for six years.

According to ESPN, the Buffalo Bills and All-Pro wide receiver Stephen Diggs have agreed a four-year, $104 million contract extension. The deal includes a $70 million guarantee and now links the Maryland product to Orchard Park for the next six seasons.
At NFL owner meetings late last month, general manager Brandon Bean admitted, via WKBW, that he has had “open talks” with Diggs’s agent since the end of the season, but the status of the talks at the time. I will not go any further. He closed by saying:
“I have a great relationship with Steph and he knows if I have any concerns to call directly and I’ll do the same.”
Diggs, who was the number 146 overall draft pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, was acquired from Minnesota in March of 2020. Buffalo surrendered the first round pick, fourth round pick, fifth round and sixth round pick in exchange for the wide receiver. Seventh round option.
Over the past two seasons, Diggs has found success both individually and in the team. He was named to the NFL Pro Bowl both seasons and has amassed 230 receptions for 2,760 yards and 18 touchdowns. For the first time in his career, he was named a First-team All-Pro in 2020. The Bills advanced to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs or better in each of those two seasons; Both ended in a loss to Kansas City.
Diggs had two years left on his current contract, set to hit a salary cap of about $18 million each season. The news comes during the same off-season in which Tyrek Hill ($72.2 million guaranteed) and Davante Adams ($65 million guaranteed) received lucrative contract extensions of their own.
