Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs celebrated three touchdowns in last Sunday’s win over the Dolphins, but one of them flew past the league office.
After the touchdown catch in the second quarter, Diggs went into the stands and grabbed some beers from fans sitting near the field. He broke them together, causing beer to be sprayed on Diggs, other Bills players and those fans.
Diggs joked about thanking fans for a beer after the game, but that turned out to be an even more expensive option. The league announced Saturday that the move resulted in Diggs being fined $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Defensive tackle Ed Oliver was fined $13,659 for the same reason, while defensive lineman Daquan Jones was fined $16,391 for the hit on Tua Tagovailoa.

Ironically, Diggs wasn’t even flagged for the celebration. However, according to reports, he had to pay a fine of $13,659 for this.
The touchdown was the first of three for Diggs in the Bills’ slaughter of the Miami Dolphins, an 11-yard score with 10:02 left in the first half.
