According to Juan Francisco Puelo Herrera, commissioner of Professional Baseball of the Caribbean, LIC, there is even a chance that Miami could become a regular host site for the tournament. After Venezuela 2023, Puerto Rico 2025, Mexico 2026 and Mexico 2027 again, he acknowledged that “in 2028, this loan may go back to the depot park. Nothing has been established yet.”
“I’ve always had the idea of having another series in Miami, and we’ve finally done it after all these years,” Puelo said in Spanish. “…This Caribbean Series is going to be a ‘before and after’ event. With the agreement we’ve made with the Marlins, this Caribbean Series is going to reach levels we never imagined possible.”

Londipot Park will host the 2024 Caribbean Series (Serie del Caribe), the Confederación de Beisbol Professional del Caribe (CBPC) announced during a press conference in the Dominican Republic on Saturday afternoon. The Marlins’ home would become the first Major League Baseball stadium to do so.
