Current ranking
Serena Williams hasn’t played since last year’s Wimbledon and is now ranked 246th in the world, but she says she plans to play at the All-England Lawn Tennis Club this year.
Williams, 40, posted a video with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the bitcoin conference in Miami, saying they were discussing his return.
“We’re talking about our return,” said Williams, who has 23 Grand Slam singles titles, one shy of Margaret Court’s all-time record. “He’s cheating on me and preparing me for Wimbledon.”
When Rodgers asked, “What about the U.S. Open?” Williams replied, “Before the Wimbledon US Open, I have to play Wimbledon first.”
Wimbledon runs from June 27 to July 10 and the US Open runs from August 29 to September. 11.

According to The Times, the eight-time Wimbledon singles champion has been offered small pieces of medical tape on his face to relieve sinus problems. She began wearing tape when she reached the doubles semi-finals at Eastbourne, where unfortunately an injury to her teammate Ons Jaboor prevented the pair from finishing.
“My secrets out,” the 40-year-old athlete said in an interview with Reuters. “I’m a sinus sufferer. It’s not easy playing tennis or doing a lot of things everyday when you have sinus.
“You feel a lot of pressure, rush and pain and training for Grand Slams like … Wimbledon and the French Open, it’s not easy,” she said.
Tape on face
In severe cases, or those not responding to medical intervention, nose and sinus surgery has been found to be effective in relieving sinus disease. But Williams, and possibly many others, are wearing tape on her cheek, in the area of the maxillary sinus, to relieve sinus-related pressure.
