How much did make
Scotty Scheffler posted 17 top-20 finishes in 70 career PGA Tour starts, including a pair of runner-up finishes, before securing his first win on Sunday at the WM Phoenix Open.
Schaeffler topped Patrick Cantley in the three-hole playoff at TPC Scottsdale and took the trophy and first place for nearly $1.5 million.
Schaeffler had a chance to win the event in regulation, but missed a 5-footer for a birdie on the 72nd hole.
He saved himself by making a distance of 25 feet on the third extra hole.
Where is from
He is from Dallas, Texas, United States. Dallas, a modern metropolis in North Texas, is a commercial and cultural center of the region. Downtown’s sixth-floor museum at Daly Plaza commemorates the site of the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In the Arts District, the Dallas Museum of Art and The Crow Collection of Asian Art co.
Caddie
Schaeffler’s caddy now is Scotty McGuinness who has been a caddy since 2005 and has been a bagman for a long list of players including Conrad Schindler, Jason Gore, Matt Jones, John Mallinger, John Daly, Chase Revy, Nick Flanagan, Steve Smith, and many others. Boditch, Kyle Thompson, Cam Percy, John Who and Billy Hurley. McGuinness is from Manly, Australia, so it should come as no surprise that her favorite golfer growing up was Greg Norman and her favorite city is Sydney.
Interestingly, his favorite course to travel is not in Australia, instead he prefers to do caddy in the Riviera.
Scheffler also recently had a man named Eric Ledbetter during The Northern Trust, but it appeared to be a temporary partnership as he has now moved back to McGuinness. We believe Ledbetter is a helpful supporter at TPC Boston, the host course for the event so that may have something to do with the fleeting partnership.
