He was Born in Elche, Alicante, Valencian Community, Saúl moved to Real Madrid at the age of 11 before switching to cross-city rivals Atlético in 2008. Chelsea
Chelsea have submitted an enquiry over the availability of Atletico Madrid and Spain midfielder Saul Niguez. The Blues chances of signing the 26-year-old have been given an added boost with news from Italy that Diego Simeone’s club are close to finialising a deal for Rodrigo de Paul.
With Atleti well-stocked in central midfield, the arrival of the Argentine is likely to force at least one of the current crop out of the club with Saul tipped to be that player.
