In 2015, Lee’s woman was the winner. Tough Enough, the sixth season of the WWE Championship, earned him a one-year contract with WWE.

Sarah Lee, winner of the 2015 WWE “Tough Enough” reality television series, has died at the age of 30, her mother and the wrestling organization said Thursday.

Lee, a Hope, Michigan native, won a one-year, $250,000 WWE contract in the competition’s sixth season.

“We are all in shock and the arrangement is not done,” his mother Terri Lee said in a social media post. “We want you to respectfully mourn our family. We all especially need our prayers for Corey and her children.”

The cause of death was not provided.

WWE said in a statement that it was saddened to learn of his passing.

“As a former “Tough Enough” winner, Lee served as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans.” tweeted.

Sarah Lee won the 2015 edition of Tough Enough – an elimination-style program launched to find new talent to join the company.

According to local media, Sarah was a track star and powerlifter in her US high school before starting her wrestling career.

His mother, Terri Lee, announced the death in a statement posted online.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our Sarah Weston is gone to be with Jesus,” she wrote. “We are all in shock.”

Lee of the US state of Michigan was awarded a $250,000 contract after winning at Tough Enough, but was released the following year.

Sarah Lee, the winner of Season 6 of WWE’s reality series Tough Enough, passed away today at the age of 30, her mother said. No reason given.

“With a heavy heart we want to announce that our Sarah Weston has moved on to be with Jesus,” Terry Lee wrote on social media. “We are all in shock and arrangements have not been completed. We want you to respectfully mourn our family.”

Lee recently battled a sinus infection, but posted earlier this week that she was feeling well enough to work.
