Ryan Joseph Giggs OBE (born Wilson; 29 November 1973) is a Welsh football coach and former player. He was most recently manager of the Wales national team. He is also the co-owner of Salford City. Giggs played for Manchester United his entire professional career and served as the club’s interim manager after the sacking of David Moyes in April 2014. Giggs is considered one of the greatest players of his generation.

Arrested
Wales manager and former Manchester United player Ryan Giggs has been accused of assaulting two women.
He has been charged with actual bodily harm to a 30-year-old woman and general assault of a woman in her 20s at an address in Salford last November.
Mr Giggs of Worsley has also been charged with coercive or controlling behaviour.
He has been granted bail to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 28 April.
Mr Giggs, 47, said in a statement that he would plead not guilty to the charges in court.
“I fully respect due process of law and understand the gravity of the allegations,” he said.
“I look forward to clearing my name.”
Greater Manchester Police said officers were called at 22:05 GMT on 1 November to report a disturbance at an address in Worsley.
The force said a 30-year-old woman was treated for minor injuries on the spot itself.
Mr Giggs is also accused of coercing or controlling behavior between December 2017 and November 2020.
The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has confirmed that assistant manager Robert Page will lead Wales at this summer’s European Championships.
The FAW said there would be a board meeting to “discuss the development and its impact on the association and the national team”.
In his statement, Mr Giggs said: “I would like to wish Robert Page, the coaching staff, players and supporters every success at Euros this summer.”
The former Manchester United winger is one of British football’s most decorated footballers after his 24-year career at Old Trafford and was appointed an OBE in 2007 before winning the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year in 2009.
He also won 64 caps for Wales between 1991 and 2007 and was appointed national manager in January 2018, qualifying him for Euro 2020, which has been rescheduled due to COVID-19.
He is also a co-owner of League Two side Salford City.
