The former Bills quarterback was photographed shirtless by many fans as he was observing Buffalo’s 47-17 win over the New England Patriots in an AFC wild-card game from the stands. The temperature at the time of the game was 7 degrees. Fitzpatrick played for the Bills from 2009 to 2012, starting 53 games during that stretch and throwing 80 touchdowns to 64 interceptions. He has played for nine different teams, but spent the most time with the Bills and is well known at Buffalo. On the Adam Schefter podcast in 2020, Fitzpatrick said that Buffalo is special to him.

He was a star at Harvard before being drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round of the 2005 draft. After leaving the Rams, he went on to play for the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins and Washington football team. He set the Jets record for most touchdowns in a season in 2015, as the team missed very little on the postseason and holds the Titans record for most touchdowns in a game (six), which he set in 2014.
