Broncos QB Russell Wilson knows he cost Denver a game on Thursday night.

After losing more than 12-9 to the Colts, all eyes are on Wilson and head coach Nathaniel Hackett at Broncos Country. The pairing has so far failed, with Denver’s anemic offense being the laughing stock of the NFL.

Wilson had two terrible interceptions against Indy and still had a chance to win. On fourth and one in what turned out to be the final game of the game, he threw an unfinished pass into the end zone and Denver dropped to 2-3 in the season.

The Denver defense was once again stellar, but the QB that GM George Patton dropped so much in a trade and then paid so much money that wasn’t enough. At his postgame press conference, Wilson owned it.

Postgame interview

To say that Russell Wilson left much to be desired from Denver Broncos fans would be an understatement at this point so far. The nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback continued with his season-long slump Thursday night as the Broncos took on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5.

Unsurprisingly, Wilson’s underwhelming performance earned him an ultimate clown on Twitter’s mean streets:

Thursday’s matchup against the Colts was Wilson’s fifth game with his new team, and as the user above pointed out, it didn’t look like he was keeping pace with the rest of the team.
