The Los Angeles Lakers narrowed the record to 16–16 to begin the season. After trading for Russell Westbrook last off-season, things haven’t gone according to plan so far.
The team is worse than they expected. While injuries certainly haven’t helped the situation, the Lakers certainly need to be better than they are at the moment.
Recent NBA rumors have surfaced that Westbrook may be on the business block. The fit didn’t turn out the way Los Angeles wanted, so trading him away may be their best option.
While that may be true, it’s also important to note that Westbrook itself hasn’t necessarily been bad. The point is simply that his fit on the Lakers is questionable at best.
