Russell Westbrook: Did get traded to the clippers| Clippers
Earlier this month, Westbrook was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Jazz in a three-team deal before the trade deadline. In 52 games for the Lakers this season, most of them off the bench, Westbrook is averaging 15.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. But while his counting numbers were still solid, his defense, inefficient shooting (41.7 percent from the field, 29.6 percent from 3-point land) and poor fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis were once again a problem for the Lakers.

Veteran guard Russell Westbrook plans to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers following their buyout with the Utah Jazz, a league source confirmed to The Athletic.
Despite some of Westbrook’s issues with the Lakers and his declining play in recent years, the Clippers are willing to take a chance on him. This is likely not least because of comments from Paul George, who told the media earlier this month that Clippers players wanted to bring in Westbrook.
