Ronda Jean Rousey is an American professional wrestler, actress, and retired mixed martial artist, she was born on 1 February 1987. She is best known for her time in the UFC and the WWE. Her longstanding nickname, “Rowdy”, was inherited from late professional wrestler Roddy Piper. Rousey has not wrestled since she took time off from WWE after WrestleMania in April 2019. On April 21, 2021 Rousey announced on her official YouTube channel that she is four months pregnant with her first child. Rousey and Browne announced that the child will be a girl. In September 27, 2021, Rousey gave birth to a girl named La’akea Makalapuaokalanipõ Browne.

ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reported in April 2019 that Rousey was taking time away from her wrestling career with WWE to begin a family with Browne. The birth of her daughter will likely spark speculation of a return to a WWE ring for Rousey.
