Attacks alexa bliss
WWE has suspended wrestler Ronda Rousey indefinitely after she attacked an official at WWE SummerSlam.
At the SummerSlam event in Nashville on Saturday, Rousey, 35, lost the women’s title match to Liv Morgan and was tapped out immediately after the match, with referee Dan Angler apparently failing to notice Morgan, 28, appeared. WWE.
Rousey grabbed the referee by the hand and flipped it over his shoulder and onto the floor of the ring, where he pinned him down until another official came into the ring.
“Rousie is going to be fined, or maybe worse,” one WWE broadcaster immediately speculated as the incident was played in front of a crowd at Nissan Stadium.
After the loss, she retired and went to WWE. So how’s his WWE. Mike Skills is bad. He’s still an asshole and his skin is so thin.
Road house
The sports world has suffered some major defeats recently. Bill Russell, Vin Scully, and now Ronda Rousey’s Road House remake. With the news that Jake Gyllenhaal will star in the Doug Liman-directed Road House remake, it looks like the former UFC champion will never step into Patrick Swayze’s shoes once with a burgeoning film career.
It was a wild ride. It’s been a decade since Rousey took the MMA world by storm in March 2012 when she defeated Misha Tate to win the Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Championship. Rousey was such a force of nature that the UFC eventually disbanded and created women’s divisions. Within a year she was headlining UFC 157 in the first female fight in UFC history. As of 1 August 2015, she has defended her title five times and starred in The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage. A month later a remake of Road House was announced, with Rousey playing Lady Dalton.
Obviously, that never happened. In November 2015, Holly Holm handed her the first defeat of her career, knocking her out so badly that Rousey retreated into the woods, unable to eat the apple. A year later, the UFC persuaded her to retire and fed Amanda Nunes, arguably the greatest female mixed martial artist of all time. Nunes eliminates Rousey in 48 seconds and she will never fight again.
