Ronald Louis Washington (born April 29, 1952) is an American professional baseball player, coach, and manager. He is the manager of the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Drugs

Coaching career

In October 2016, Washington was a finalist for the Atlanta Braves managerial vacancy. The Braves instead opted to promote interim manager Brian Snitker, and then announced the hiring of Washington as their new third base coach, replacing Bo Porter. Washington won his first World Series championship on November 2, 2021, as the third-base coach for the Atlanta Braves. Washington remains the Braves’ third-base coach through the 2023 season.

Following the 2023 season, the Los Angeles Angels hired Washington as their manager.
