Roger Federer will retire at the age of 41 after the Laver Cup in London next week, capping off one of the greatest sporting careers ever.
Federer, a 20-time grand slam champion, announced on Thursday via social media that next week will be his final as a professional player.
The Laver Cup, a Ryder Cup-style event, was founded by Federer’s management firm, Team8.
