I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people on the planet.
I was given a special talent to play tennis, and I did it at a level I never imagined possible for a much longer period of time.
I’d like to thank my wonderful wife Mirka, who has been by my side every step of the way.
She has warmed me up before finals, watched countless matches even while eight months pregnant, and has put up with my goofy side on the road for over 20 years with my team.
I’d also like to thank my four wonderful children for always being eager to explore new places and make wonderful memories along the way.
It’s a great feeling to see my family cheering me on from the stands.

Roger Federer, 41, will retire from tennis after the Laver Cup next week.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion has been dealing with a knee injury for the past three years and has decided to retire.
Federer will compete in the Ryder Cup-style Laver Cup in London next week, but will then retire from the professional game.
