Grossman played for the Bradenton Marauders of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League (FSL).
In 2011, again playing for the Marauders, Grossman became the first minor league player since Nick Swisher in 2004 to score 100 runs and walk 100 times in a season; he also became the first player in the FSL to do so since 1998.
On February 15, 2019, Grossman signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Athletics. Grossman did not perform as he did the previous season, as he hit just .240 with 6 home runs and 38 RBI in 138 games.
He was named Minor League Player of the Year for the Pittsburgh organization.
Fantasy:
The Detroit Tigers finished the 2021 season with a 77–85 record, strong enough for third place in the American League Central Division.
This record and standing within the division surprised a lot of people around baseball and the Tigers hope they can move into 2022.

Just after the calendar turned to 2021, Detroit Tigers general manager, Al Avila, did something he hadn’t done in nearly five years. On January 5th, 2021, he signed outfielder Robbie Grossman to a two-year, $10 million contract.
It was the first multi-year contract the Tigers had given to a free agent since they signed Justin Upton in January of 2016. It was also the first multi-year free agent signing since Chris Ilitch took over ownership of the team.
