Blazers
Rick Carlisle is suddenly available. Of course the Trail Blazers should go after him. Carlisle immediately becomes the most accomplished head-coaching candidate available league-wide. He led underdog Dallas to the championship in 2011, defeating LeBron James and the Miami Heat, and guided the Mavericks to the playoffs in six of the next 10 seasons.
Salary
Rick Carlisle has signed the contract of $29 million with the Pacers recently. Previously at the Dallas Mavericks, he had a salary of $7,000,000 annually, so we can expect that it would be higher than that for sure. The Players are glad to have recruited Carlisle, especially since their team’s position is rather harsh as of last season.
