The 28-year-old Texan claimed his 13th PGA Tour win – and first as a father – at the 2022 RBC Heritage via a one-hole playoff with Ryder Cup teammate Patrick Cantley. Spieth scored a 5-under 66 thanks to a pair of Eagles on his front nine at the Harbor Town Golf Links during Sunday’s final round and won with a clutch up-down from the bunker on the first playoff hole.

How Much Champion Will Earn

While this year’s purse is a record $8 million, which is higher than last year’s $7.1 million offer. This means that the standard 18% check for the winner would be a cool $1,440,000. That’s in addition to a PGA Tour exemption until the end of the 2024 season, a spot at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii next January… and a waiver 51 weeks from now for the 2023 Masters.

Harold Warner III’s Ka-11 is ahead of Shane Lowry, Eric van Rooyen and Patrick Cantley’s K-10 after 54 holes. In the DraftKings sportsbook, Kentley is preferred on 360 to win, with Lowry being the underdogs of the last four on the 400, Warner 500. and Van Rooyen on the 850.
