Vs lyon Where to Watch
With three in front of Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, it is no surprise that PSG top the Ligue 1 table after the first five gameweeks. While the All-Star trio haven’t really fielded the league together before today, PSG have blown away the competition so far, winning each of their first five games in convincing fashion.
The trio started PSG’s first Champions League group stage match together in midweek, but surprisingly they only managed a draw against Belgian side Club Brugge. This disappointing result is the team’s first setback of the season, so they will be eager to make a comeback against Lyon.
While Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have been in the limelight, some other PSG players are quietly playing very well. Ander Herrera made a brace against Clermont and was also on target in midweek, and he starts again against Lyon. New goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma impressed in his debut against Clermont and maintained his starting position here.
