Skills showdown time:
The Pro Bowl 2022 will be played next Sunday, February 6 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada and this exhibition game between the best players in the AFC and NFC will experiment with certain rules that are not used in a regular NFL game.
An example to explain it better is assuming the AFC wins the toss, they can choose to have the ball placed at the 1-yard line of scrimmage and then have to travel 99 yards to the end zone, then the NFC can choose to have the ball far away from the opponent’s end zone or play defense there.
Skills Showdown:
The order of choice is reversed at the start of the third quarter. That rule change was proposed for overtime by the Baltimore Ravens last offseason
The second rule that will change is after connecting on a field goal, in that instance the scoring team can choose to keep the ball on their own 25 yard line on 4th and 15 or give the ball to the other team on their 25 yard line on 1st and 10.
