He confirmed what was widely known—that he’s an advocate for the Saudi-backed Super Golf League—and breezily admitted his willingness to overlook the regime’s abuses simply for a chance to force concessions from the PGA Tour that would further enrich him.

Phil Mickelson is married to his wife Amy Mickelson, formerly Amy McBride. The couple met in 1992 during their college days at Arizona State, where Phil was a star golfer and Amy was a cheerleader for the NBA.
Amy Mickelson, Phil’s wife, was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been battling the deadly disease with chemotherapy sessions and resting in hospital rooms petrified.
He announced on Twitter the birth of Asher Hayes Mickelson, with a sweet message: “And in an instant my life’s purpose became crystal clear.”
