On Monday, the concession menu in Southern Hills made its way onto social media, and its prices made golf fans dream of the days when the Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich was the biggest of their golf concession-related problems.
On the grounds of the Southern Hills, beers are Liquid Gold… and it costs about the same. For the hop-minded fan, the Michelob Ultra represents the most ardent menu offense ever. In PGA, a single, 24 oz. Can retail for the noseband price of $18 at your nearest Target—or $1 more than the cost of an 18-pack of Michelob Ultra. For $19, fans can upgrade their beer selection to a similarly sized Stella Artois or Mitch Ultra Organic Hard Seltzer.
Bargain buyers will be excited to learn that for just $15, they too can own a 12-oz. Kona Big Wave or Standard Cocktail. However, step up to a “signature” or “souvenir” cocktail, and the cost drops to $19 once again. The wine by the glass likely represents the best bang-for-buck, costing just $13.

The 2019 PGA Championship was the 101st edition of the PGA Championship, and the second of four major golf championships in 2019, held May 16–19 at the Black Course in Bethpage State Park, Farmingdale, New York. This was the first edition under the new schedule in which the PGA Championship is the second major event of the year, having previously been a final in decades. Brooks Koepka won his second PGA Championship and fourth Major, two strokes ahead of runner-up Dustin Johnson. At the age of 29 he became the only player currently under the age of 30 to win at least four Majors, and he returned to the number one spot in the world. Koepka scored a combined record PGA Championship low of 63 in the first round, and 65 in the second, the lowest 36-hole score in major history and the largest 36-hole PGA Championship lead (7 strokes) in the PGA.
