Why didnt play
Los Angeles Clippers wing Paul George has appeared on several All-Star snub lists after being dropped from the team, but the six-time All-Star has no problem getting passed.
As seen in the following video, courtesy of USA Today’s Mark Medina, George said he didn’t qualify to be an All-Star because he “didn’t play enough games.”
Paul George: “I didn’t deserve to be an All-Star. I didn’t play enough games.”
George has produced a great deal this season while healthy, but injuries have limited him to play in only 27 of the Clippers’ 48 games.
If George didn’t miss that many games, his numbers would undoubtedly be All-Star worthy, as he averages 22.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals.

The Clippers will be without Paul George with the weather on the line Friday night.
George entered the NBA’s health and safety protocol and would miss the game against New Orleans, which would decide the Western Conference’s eighth and final playoff spot.
The Los Angeles Times and ESPN, citing team president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank, reported George to miss the game due to the COVID protocol. Frank said George was not feeling well on Thursday and his test results came back positive on Friday morning.
George’s position is another challenge for a team that has shown its resilience this season.
How long will be out
LA Clippers star forward Paul George is back.
On December 25, the team announced that George suffered an elbow injury, which would be reevaluated in three to four weeks. George missed five games earlier this month due to an elbow injury and has since been dropped for two matches.
On January 18, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that George would be on the sidelines for a few more weeks as the team assessed how the injury responded to rest.
This season, George averages 24.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists for the Clippers.
