Minutes restriction:

For the first time in months,Ā Paul GeorgeĀ took the floor on Tuesday night for theĀ Los Angeles Clippers.

His presence, clearly, was much needed.

George dropped 34 points in his return for the Clippers in their wild 121-115 comeback win over theĀ Utah JazzĀ on Tuesday night ā€” which snapped a five game losing skid. It marked Georgeā€™s first game in more than three months after he tore his UCL in his right elbow.

Minutes:

George was supposed to be on a minutes restriction, but he clearly played much longer than planned. George put up a team-high 34 points with six assists while shooting 10-of-20 from the field and 6-of-9 from behind the arc.

20 of his points came in the third quarter alone, which led them out of a 25-point hole and right back into the game.

The Clippers then used a huge 13-0 run late in the fourth quarter to take their first lead of the game with less than four minutes left. They then held the Clippers to just six points the rest of the way en route to the six-point win, and ended on a 34-12 run.
