3 pointers tonight:

Timberwolves 109 – 104 Clippers · 13 Apr 2022
George registered 19 points (4-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 9-11 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals across 28 minutes during Wednesday’s 113-109 win over the Suns.

George (elbow) accumulated 34 points (10-20 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 8-11 FT), six assists, four steals, two rebounds and one block across 31 minutes during Tuesday’s 121-115 win over Utah.

PG13 hit his 1,828th three-point stroke to pass Kobe, and now he passed Chauncey Billups to get up to 18th on the ladder. Once he hit his 1,831st triple, he officially passed Billups. This shows just how good of a shooter PG is. He has shot at an elite 38.1% from back deep in his career.

Points Tonight:

The No. 7 seed Minnesota Timberwolves are back in the NBA playoffs after beating the No. 8 seed Los Angeles Clippers 109-104 on Tuesday in the play-in tournament at Minneapolis’ Target Center.

L.A. led 93-83 with 8:54 remaining in regulation, but Minnesota responded with a 16-2 run capped by an Anthony Edwards dunk for a 99-95 edge.

The night starts in the East at 7 p.m. ET as Cleveland takes on Brooklyn. In a successful effort to get in front of the line move, I detailed my best bet on the total Monday morning.

Is Back:

For the late game between the Clippers and Timberwolves, letting the market develop paid off as I was able to get a better price with the underdog.

I have a lot of respect for all four Western Conference play-in teams and consider the margin that separates them very small.

In games that are expected to be highly competitive, I’d rather have the points in a close game than not. Favorites went 3-1 ATS in the first round of last year’s tournament, but I expect the dogs to get revenge this time around.
